INDIA-CHINA

Everyone knows the Indo-China War 1962. In which India had to lose. 20/10/1962 to 21/11/1962. The war lasted for a month, in the areas of North East India, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, in which China had won a great victory.

In 1962, India's Chief of Staff General Brij Mohan Kaul was the Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Radha krishna was the President. In 1962, there was no infrastructure development on our country's borders. Yes, it was a victory for China. After this, India sealed the country's borders.

On 11-14 September 1967 in Natula and on 1 October 1967 in the Chola area the Indo-China War broke out again. At that time, Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India, Radhakrishna was the President, and General Prabhakaran was the Chief of Staff. Known as the bold decision maker, Indira Gandhi allowed the Indian Army a free end of the army. The Indian Army is always ready for war. 88 Indian soldiers were killed and 163 wounded in this war. Between 350 and 400 Chinese soldiers were killed and 450 wounded. But China has not acknowledged that so many of its soldiers have died. Airforce was not used in any way in this war.

In 1967, India had developed infrastructure on the border and the soldiers had a good practice of fighting at high altitudes. This made it difficult for the Chinese soldiers to stand in front of the Indian soldiers, and they knew that it would not last long. Also, since then it has been very difficult to wage war with India at high altitudes. They are well aware that they are well-prepared.
In the 1967 war, China had a good run, and China withdrew at that time. India won the war, China had misunderstood that India has become a very powerful country. Fighting with India is no longer easy.

On 13 August 1967, Chinese troops started digging trenches in Nathu La across the Indian border. After Indian troops observed that some trenches were inside Sikkim, it asked the local Chinese commander to withdraw from the Indian protectorate state.
On 1 October 1967, another clash between India and China took place at Cho La, a few km north of Nathu La.
According to the Indian government version with which neutral experts concur, the clash was initiated by the Chinese troops after a scuffle between the two, when the Chinese troops infiltrated into Sikkim, claimed the pass and questioned the position of Indian troops.

Sikkim was not part of India then! On 16 May 1975, Sikkim became the 22nd state of the Indian Union, and the monarchy was abolished.
